Residential Window Cleaning

Bright, streak-free windows for your Erie home.

Careful, hand-detailed cleaning for homes in Erie, Millcreek, Fairview, Harborcreek and nearby towns. Interior, exterior, screens, and sills — all done by the owner, all done right.

House-proud window cleaning, done the old-fashioned way

A great view starts at the glass. Erie winters coat every pane in salt spray and road grit; summers add pollen, spider webs, and hard-water spots from the sprinkler. E's Window Washing is a locally owned, one-person residential service built to bring that view back — one carefully cleaned window at a time.

Every home cleaning is done by Ethan, the owner. No rotating crews, no rushed jobs. I bring pure-water fed-pole systems for tall exteriors, ladder-and-mitt technique for detail work, and traditional squeegees on the inside — the combination that actually leaves glass streak-free instead of just "wet-clean."

What's included in every residential cleaning

Interior & exterior glass

Hand-washed with soft mitts and pure water — no soap film, no towel lint.

Frames, sills & sashes

Every ledge wiped down and detailed so the whole window looks new, not just the glass.

Screens on request

Removed, gently washed, dried, and refit. Bug seasons in Erie make this a favorite add-on.

Fully insured, careful work

Booties inside, drop cloths on hardwood, and a promise that nothing gets touched but the windows.

How the appointment works

  1. 1

Text or call for a free estimate — I'll ask a few quick questions and give you a fair, flat price.

  2. 2

We pick a day that works. I'll confirm the day before and give a 30-minute arrival window.

  3. 3

On the day, I show up on time, protect your floors, and hand-clean every pane inside and out.

  4. 4

Before I leave, we walk the house together so you approve every window in daylight.

Homes I love working on in the Erie area

From lakefront cottages in Fairview and craftsman bungalows in Millcreek to newer builds in Summit Township and grand A-frames in Harborcreek, no property is too tall, tucked-in, or tricky. Two-story colonials with 30+ windows? Perfect. A tiny ranch with six panes and a garden window? Also perfect. The care is the same.

Add-ons homeowners ask about most

  • Screen cleaning — deep-scrubbed so daylight actually comes through
  • Window track cleaning — the dirtiest part of any home, transformed
  • Skylights and hard-to-reach transoms above stairwells
  • Post-construction cleanup for stickers, plaster dust, and paint spray
  • Recurring quarterly or biannual plans with priority scheduling

Frequently asked questions

How often should I have my home windows cleaned?+

Most Erie-area homeowners book twice a year — once in spring to clear winter grime, once in fall after the trees drop. Homes near Lake Erie or busy roads often prefer quarterly service to stay ahead of pollen, salt, and road film.

Do you clean inside and outside?+

Yes. Interior and exterior are our standard package. You can also book exterior-only during peak season if you'd rather skip the indoor scheduling.

Will you move furniture or blinds?+

I'll gently reposition anything light near a window, wipe sills, and put everything back exactly as it was. For large pieces, I ask that you slide them a few inches before I arrive so nothing gets scuffed.

What about screens and storm windows?+

Screens are included on request — pulled, hand-washed, dried, and reset. Storm windows and combination sashes take a little longer but are handled the same careful way.

Do you work in winter?+

Yes. Interior cleanings continue year-round in Erie. Exterior work happens whenever temperatures allow — usually early spring through late fall.
